Weed & Feed: Every First Saturday Mornings

Jerusalem Sage in the Arizona Herb Association’s Demonstration Garden.

Come enjoy a visit to the our demonstration garden.

Located on the grounds of The University of Arizona Maricopa County Extension offices, 4341 E. Broadway Road, Phoenix, AZ 85040, the garden is open to the public.

Spend some quality time with your herbie friends (new and old) learning about herbs while volunteering to care for our public demonstration garden. We meet every first Saturday of the month in the garden, summer hours (June-August) at 7 AM, rest of the year 8 AM. See our calendar for more information.

If you have time to stay after to eat and socialize, please bring a dish for the “Feed,” home-made or store-bought. If you can only spend an hour or two – no problem, please come anyway!

Bring tools, hat, sunscreen and water – we have some tools; restrooms and water available.

Contact Mike Hills, MikeHills (at) cox (dot) net for seasonal Weed & Feed hours.

Welcome!

The Arizona Herb Association is a nonprofit organization, established as an educational forum so that its members and the public can easily obtain, share and utilize information about the uses, culture, history and lore of herbs. Our members maintain interests in culinary, cosmetic, medicinal, ornamental, dye and ethnic herbs. All other interests in herbs are encouraged and welcomed.
